Benishuho cherries Grown in Japan
【Product Description】
Benishuho cherries — one of the most popular cherry varieties in Japan.
Benishuho cherries are known for their large size and high sugar content.
They have a deep red color with a beautiful glossy shine, making them visually stunning.
They also have excellent shelf life and a satisfyingly firm, crisp texture.
In Japan, Benishuho cherries are a popular gift for the summer season (Ochugen),
both for individuals and businesses—and they’re also well-loved for personal enjoyment.
This variety was developed in Yamagata Prefecture in 1991. It is a cross between
the Sato Nishiki cherry and the Tenko Nishiki cherry.
The peak season is from around mid-June to early July.
