【Product Description】

“Yamagata Benio,” a cherry variety created in Yamagata Prefecture and first
released in 2023, has a short peak season—roughly from mid-June to early July.

This next-generation Yamagata cherry boasts a generous size, elegant sweetness,
and excellent keeping quality. With a diameter of roughly 28–34 mm, it ranks
among the largest cherry varieties grown in Japan. Plantings are expanding every year,
and strong demand is anticipated both at home and abroad.

Japanese cherries aren’t prized just for their sweetness—they strike an exceptional
balance of sugar, acidity, and crisp texture, making them irresistibly hard to stop eating.
